Trip to the Mountains

Between my husbands couple months away, we managed to fit in a little family vacation down to the Banff area. We have been living in Alberta for over four years now and figured it was about time we took a trip to the mountains. Although we road-tripped it down mid-October, we still didn't manage to get the fall weather we had originally hoped for. Winter came a couple days before, bringing snow and chillier temperatures, but it ended up being a great time anyways. We enjoyed touring around a bit in Calgary, before heading to Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise, with lots of walking and exploring, including Olivia's first hike up a mountain. She seemed to love it all! Such beauty we have right here in Alberta, and we know we'll definitely make another trip down in the warmer months one day!
